YOU SURVIVED!!! WOOHOO!!! This calls for a drink! And ice cream! And cheesecake! And shoe shopping! And a spa day! And and and… all you want to do is sleep. Don't blame you.  When I was 24, I slept for 36 hours straight after the 8 week shutdown from hell.  I've been there.


Just like you've planned your shutdown survival, plan for some recovery.  Plan a detox day, preferably a Friday (better yet, a Thursday and a Friday).  Go out.  Or sleep in.  Take the family, or not.  Whatever you do, don't think about work.  Don't think about Monday.  Celebrate.  You've earned it.
